On October 2, 2024, SWM Motors, in collaboration with its exclusive Italian distributor Campello SpA, hosted a high-profile event at the Anthology Space of East End Studios in Milan, showcasing a new range of SUVs tailored for the Italian market to industry professionals and media representatives. This event marks SWM's official strengthening of its exclusive presence in the Italian market through strategic partnership with Campello.
On stage to tell the story of the project together with Jiang Bo, Vice General Manager of SWM-Shineray, also Alessandro Campello, CEO of Campello SpA.
Alessandro Campello states: "We are excited to finally be able to formalize this partnership, on which we have been working for a long time. SWM is a brand born in Italy, which now also comes back with a 4-wheel range, more mature and evolved. This is where it all started, this is where Campello has been working with pride for years, and this is where we want to make a difference."
The participants attended the presentation of the range and then had the opportunity to test drive the various car models to experience their performance on a dedicated test track.
The range, formed by SUV segment D, debuts on the Italian market with the G01 models, characterized by its excellent value for money, its sports version G01F, with a contemporary and gritty design and the large SUV G03F and G05, that in their configuration 7 seats are the ideal solution for large families and those who like to travel with friends. The arrival of G03F EDI, a plug-in EREV vehicle, also surprises, as it is unique in the range available to newly patented vehicles. The new product will be launched in the coming months.
The vehicles in the range are all equipped as standard with leather seats, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, alloy rims, sunroof, parking sensors with camera, back windows darkened.
All vehicles are available with petrol, approved by Euro6e and covered by a 5-year warranty or 100,000 km (2 years, unlimited kilometers). In addition, by the end of 2024, all models will also be available with LPG power.
There is also the X30L, 7-seater electric configuration, a vehicle already presented at the end of 2023 by Campello, and already marketed within the range of commercial vehicles Shineray for several months.
This launch marks a significant milestone in SWM's journey, reinforcing our commitment to the Italian automotive market. In partnership with Campello SpA, we aim to provide customers with highly-equipped vehicles that offer an excellent quality-price ratio.
