China's SWM will hit the road in December

China's Automotive Giant Shineray Group's Italian brand SWM will enter the Turkish market

ATMO Group, which entered the Turkish automotive market in 2022, is now preparing to officially launch the Italian SWM brand in Turkey. ATMO Group will bring the ambitious SUV and light commercial vehicle models of the SWM brand to the roads of Turkey. Founded in Italy in 1971, the SWM brand draws attention with its production of more than 300 thousand vehicles per year. Stating that they have entered the Turkish market with the great experience and knowledge they have gained globally, ATMO Group Turkey CEO Anton Chernov said, "We decided to implement our international automotive experience in Turkey and commissioned a new brand distributorship investment. SWM is a very dynamic brand that combines Italian design with German production technology. Of course, we believe that the SWM brand, which is a very important and large automotive manufacturer such as the Chinese Shineray Group, will quickly gain the appreciation of the Turkish consumer."

It produces more than 300 thousand vehicles per year

The SWM brand, which is preparing to enter the Turkish market with the ATMO Group, was established in Italy in 1971. SWM, which was acquired by China's Shineray Holding in 2014, was incorporated into Brilliance Shineray Chongqing Automobile Co. Ltd., owned by Shineray Holding, in 2016 as SWM Motors. SWM's R&D Center, which has a design office in Milan and has completely Italian lines, is located in Chongging, China, where more than 1,000 people work. The brand produces more than 300 thousand vehicles per year.
